Well, what can I say...it hasn't stopped raining. Over the past couple of days vision of people loosing their houses, livestock and crops have been plastered over our TV screens. Nothing was going to prepare us for what we saw yesterday at lunch time in Toowoomba Queensland. The one of main streets was totally engulfed by a torrent of water. Some called it an inland tsunami. People lost their lives, children lost their lives. People lost their cars. People lost houses.
Now today Brisbane, the capital of the state, and outlining suburbs are bracing themselves for king tides in the river system which will devastate the lives of so many people.
I believe that 75% of the state of Queensland is under water. The total area of Queensland is 1,852,642 km2 as per Wikipedia.
